Using this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms ("Terms"), do not use this website.

Welcome to the terms and conditions for the ASUSTOR US Store. These Terms are between you and ASUSTOR US Store, governing our respective rights and obligations. Your use of this website and any purchases or features are also governed by our Privacy Policy, Legal Notice, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy, all of which are incorporated into these Terms.

1. Shipping, Prices, Rates, and Sales Tax

  • Shipping Fees Excluded: Prices displayed for products in the ASUSTOR US Store do not include shipping costs or handling fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Carrier & Rate Calculation: All shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination, package weight, dimensions, and chosen shipping speed. Domestic shipping is primarily fulfilled via UPS (United Parcel Service).

  • Customer Responsibility for Shipping: All calculated shipping costs and applicable fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer and will be added to your order total at checkout.

  • Sales Tax: Applicable state and local sales taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address.

  • Processing & Delivery Time: Orders typically require 2–3 business days for processing before dispatch. Estimated delivery times vary based on the UPS service selected at checkout and regional transit conditions.

  • Carrier Discretion: While UPS is our primary carrier, we reserve the right to select or substitute equivalent ground or air freight services at our discretion. Carriers typically do not pick up or deliver packages on weekends or official U.S. holidays.

  • No Delivery Guarantee: Delivery estimates provided at checkout are transit estimates only and are not guaranteed. ASUSTOR US Store is not liable for carrier delays caused by weather, peak seasonal volumes, or incorrect delivery addresses provided by the buyer.

2. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

All returns, replacements, and refunds are governed strictly by our Return Policy. Customers may request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery.

  • Defective/Damaged Items: For verified defective, transit-damaged, or incorrect items, ASUSTOR US Store will provide a prepaid UPS shipping label.

  • Voluntary Returns: For voluntary returns (e.g., change of mind or buyer's remorse), original shipping fees are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Restocking fees up to 15% may apply if the original product packaging is unsealed or opened.

All return requests must be submitted via email to techsupport@asustor.com. Unauthorized returns shipped back without prior written authorization (RMA) will be refused.

3. Limited Warranty Periods

Your ASUSTOR product is covered by a limited manufacturer warranty starting from the original purchase date. Proof of purchase (such as your ASUSTOR US Store order invoice) is required for all warranty claims.

  • ASUSTOR NAS Systems / Enclosures: 3 Years (unless specified otherwise on specific Enterprise/Rackmount product pages)

  • 10GbE / Multi-Gigabit Network Expansion Cards: 2 Years

  • RAM Expansion Modules: 3 Years

  • Power Supply / Power Adapter: 1 Year

  • Remote Controllers & Accessories: 3 Months

ASUSTOR will inspect the product and, at its sole discretion, repair or replace it with a new or refurbished product, or offer a store credit for the current value of the product.

Note: For warranty claims processed after the initial 30-day return window, the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with sending the product to our designated service center.

3.1 Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not apply to data loss, or any product failure caused by force majeure, accident, abuse, misuse, improper installation, abnormal environmental conditions, electrical power problems (surges/under-voltage), or unauthorized modifications. This warranty is non-transferable.

4. Payment Terms

Terms of payment are determined at ASUSTOR US Store's discretion. Payment (including product price, calculated UPS shipping charges, and applicable sales taxes) must be made by credit card or other pre-arranged payment methods accepted on our Shopify platform prior to order acceptance. Payments are subject to the approval of the issuing financial institution. ASUSTOR shall not be liable if your institution refuses or declines the transaction for any reason.

5. Disclaimer, Data Loss, & Limitation of Liability

  • Product Availability: Product availability is limited. ASUSTOR US Store reserves the right, without liability or prior notice, to revise or cease to make available any products, specifications, or shipping options.

  • Data Loss Disclaimer: ASUSTOR US Store is not responsible for any loss of data, loss of software, or business downtime under any circumstances. It is the sole responsibility of the user to completely backup and wipe all data prior to returning or sending any product for service.

  • Limitation of Liability: For any breach of these terms, ASUSTOR US Store's sole and exclusive maximum liability shall not exceed the total purchase price paid by the customer for the specific product ordered (excluding shipping costs). In no event shall we be liable for any special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of this Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located within California.
